ADR and Mediation Practice Group The Advertising Injury and Intellectual Property Practice Group at Swartz Campbell is involved in the litigation of copyright and trademark infringement claims, libel and slander claims, privacy torts, tortious interference and unfair competition claims and advertising related disputes. Members of the firm serve as regional or national intellectual property defense counsel for selected insurers and their insureds, primarily in federal district court. Members of the firm have represented retailers, sporting good manufacturers, health care professionals, publishers, apparel companies and a myriad of other business in the defense and prosecution of intellectual property claims and related business litigation. David Henry is the practice group leader and is a past committee chair for the Intellectual Property Litigation subcommittee within DRI, and he is the founder and first chair of the Intellectual Property Insurance Subcommittee of the Corporate Practice Section of the AIPLA.

Additionally, the firm represents insurers and policyholders in IP related coverage litigation. Attorneys in this group also host seminars and workshops for insurance carriers, agent associations and industry groups on the topic of intellectual property insurance, cyberliability and the litigation and settlement of intellectual property claims and are published in the areas of Cyber, Internet, Trademark and Copyright Law.
