CHRISTOPHER G. YU is an associate in the Philadelphia office and is a member of the Professional Liability practice group. Mr. Yu’s practice focuses on the representation and defense of attorneys, doctors and other professionals.
Prior to joining Swartz Campbell, Mr. Yu served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Edward C. Wright in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, where he had the opportunity to experience both criminal and civil litigation. Subsequently, Mr. Yu served as a judicial law fellow to the Honorable Michael A. Shipp, in the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, where he gained experience in cases concerning consumer fraud, lender liability, and violation of state and federal statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
Mr. Yu graduated from Emory University in 2011, and from Temple University School of Law in 2016. While at Temple Law, Mr. Yu received a Certificate in Business Law, and participated in a study abroad program at Temple’s Tokyo campus. At Temple Law, he was also a Conwell Scholar and a Dean’s List recipient.
