CATHY R. GORDON, a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, specializes in toxic tort defense. She is licensed in Pennsylvania; however, she has argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court in Haase v. Badger Mining Corp.

Ms. Gordon earned her B.A., M.P.A., and J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Order of the Barrister and on the Board of Directors of the University of Pittsburgh Varsity Letter Club. She is a member of the Allegheny Bar Association and was on the Young Lawyer Counsel for the Association from 1995 to 1999. She was on the Board of Directors for The Orr Compassionate Care Center from 1995 to 2004.

Ms. Gordon presented a lecture titled "The Sophisticated User Defense" at the Mealey’s Silica Medicine Seminar in 2004.
