CHARLES S. KATZ, JR., is a partner in the firm's West Chester regional office. He relocated there after spending 35 years in our Philadelphia office. Mr. Katz concentrates his practice in the area of workers’ compensation. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C. and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He has been selected by his peers as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer each year since 2005.
Mr. Katz lectures frequently on the topic of workers’ compensation. Among several other presentations is “Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Update” which he has moderated for Lorman Educational Services across Pennsylvania in 2007-2008.
Mr. Katz graduated from Bucknell University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1969.
Mr. Katz is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He also belongs to the Pennsylvania Defense Institute, the Risk and Insurance Management Society, and the Pennsylvania Self-Insurers’ Association.
