CHARLES S. KATZ, JR., is a partner in the firm's West Chester regional office. He recently relocated there after spending 35 years in our Philadelphia office. Mr. Katz concentrates his practice in the area of workers’ compensation. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C and is admitted before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, as well as several federalDistrict Courts.
Mr. Katz lectures frequently on the topic of workers’ compensation. Among his many presentations is “Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Update” which he has moderated for Lorman Educational Services in 2007-2008.
Mr. Katz graduated from Bucknell University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his J.D.from American University, Washington College of Law in 1969.
Mr. Katz is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations. He also belongs to the Pennsylvania Defense Institute and thePennsylvania Self-Insurers’ Association. His many representative clients include American Mining Insurance Company, B.P. Amoco, Inc., Laundry Owners' Mutual Liability Insurance Association, the School District Insurance Consortium, and Wyeth.
