CHRISTOPHER J. URBAN is a partner in the firm’s Philadelphia office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, motor vehicle liability, products liability, toxic torts, insurance coverage, subrogation, bad faith, professional liability, and workers' compensation. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has been admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the District Courts for New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Mr. Urban received his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law in 1998, where he was an editor of the Environmental Law Journal. He later received his L.L.M. in trial advocacy from the Temple University James A. Beasley School of Law. There, he earned honors for his use of technology at trial. Earlier, he received a B.S. in Finance, magna cum laude, from Lehigh University.

Among his professional affiliations, Mr. Urban is a member of the J. Willard O’Brien American Inn of Court at Villanova University Law School, the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations, and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel. His article "EPA’s Hazardous Waste Identification Rule for Process Waste (HWIR-Waste) Gone Haywire, Again" was published in the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. He has presented the following speaking seminars: “Challenging Expert Admissibility Under Frye/Daubert”, “Effective Use of Motions in Limine in Trial Practice”, and “Avoiding Dental Malpractice Pitfalls”.

Mr. Urban’s hobbies include small craft flying, travel, SCUBA diving, and deep sea and canyon fishing.
