EDWARD A. SMALLWOOD has extensive experience as an active litigator at both the trial and appellate court levels in all jurisdictions of Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He concentrates his practice in Civil Litigation in the following areas: Premises Liability, Products Liability, Toxic Tort, Environmental, Commercial Litigation, and Silica and Asbestos Litigation.

Mr. Smallwood is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, having been admitted in 1997, and West Virginia Bar Association, having been admitted in 1998. He is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and United States District Courts in Western District of Pennsylvania, Northern District of West Virginia, and Southern District of West Virginia.

Mr. Smallwood graduated with honors from West Virginia University in 1994, and received his J.D. from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary in 1997.
