FREDERICK C. FLETCHER, II, a partner in the Philadelphia office, concentrates his trial practice in areas of complex casualty litigation and products liability. Over the years, he has developed his practice into broad based defense litigation, involving the defense of self-insureds, including certain Fortune 500 companies and major insurance company insureds in serious injury claims. He has enjoyed success in defending product liability cases, Railroad FELA cases, civil rights actions, premises liability claims, construction accidents, and fire claims involving, for the most part, large, catastrophic losses.
Mr. Fletcher is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, and the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and teaches trial advocacy.
He belongs to Phi Delta Phi and Sigma Nu. He is involved in the Shipley School Board of Trustees, serving as a Trustee from 1991 to 1997 and as the Chairman from 1997 to 1999. He is now a Trustee Emeritus. He is presently Vice-President of The Jenkins Arboretum Board of Directors.
Mr. Fletcher graduated cum laude from Washington & Lee University, in Lexington, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in European History.
