JAMES CELLA, a partner in the Philadelphia office, focuses his practice in insurance defense claims. His major areas of concentration include bad faith, first party, third party and uninsured/underinsured litigation. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.

In 1997, Mr. Celia gave a lecture titled “Civil Litigation Update” to the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. The following year he spoke on “Overcoming the MIST Defense” to the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Cella graduated from Temple University in 1985 with a degree in Criminal
Justice. He earned his J.D. from Widener School of Law in Delaware in 1990. Mr. Cella is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and American Bar Associations. He also belongs to the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
