JOSEPH F. FRATTONE, IV, isa partnerwith the workers’ compensation group. He moved to the West Chester office in 2006 after spending six years in Philadelphia. Mr. Frattone is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Frattone attended St. Joseph’s University where he majored in International Relations and was a member of Phi Sigma Iota (National Foreign Language Honors Society). He graduated from St. Joseph’s in 1993. Mr. Frattone then attended Ohio Northern University’s Pettit College of Law in Ada, Ohio. While there, he was the Presiding Judge of the Moot Court Executive Board and a member of the Environmental Law Moot Court Team. He was also a member of the Order of Barristers. He graduated in 1996.
Mr. Frattone is a member of the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations. He has been active in state and local politics since 1994.
Mr. Frattone has spoken at numerous seminars including “Introduction to Workers’ Compensation in Pennsylvania” and “Workers’ Compensation Update”. He is currently writing multiple chapters for a text devoted to the practice of Workers’ Compensation law in Pennsylvania.
In 2005 and again in 2006, he was named as one of the “Rising Stars” of Pennsylvania’s Workers’ Compensation bar. This award is given to the top attorneys in their field who are under 40 or who have been in practice for less than ten years.
