MATTHEW J. DOZ is an associate in the Pittsburgh office of Swartz Campbell. He devotes much of his practice to the defense of multi-national corporations from toxic substance injury claims. He has been extensively involved in asbestos litigation since 2001 and has defended numerous companies from small family-owned operations to Dow Industrial components. Those defendants have included manufacturers, suppliers, contractors and friction product manufacturers and users. He also has significant experience in automobile and premises injury litigation, products liability litigation and contract litigation, where he has enjoyed a successful history in Pennsylvania trial and appellate courts and Federal Courts.

Mr. Doz graduated from Duquesne University School of Law in 2000. During law school he was a summer extern for the Honorable Joseph A. Del Sole of the Pennsylvania Superior Court and worked as the head law clerk at a Pittsburgh law firm. Mr. Doz achieved his BA in economics from Grove City College in 1995, where he was an all-conference track and cross country runner.
