NICHOLAS J. ZIDIK is an associate attorney in the firm’s Pittsburgh Office. Mr. Zidik received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, summa cum laude, in 2000 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Zidik was a Staff Member and Recent Decisions editor on the Duquesne Law Review, and was published twice in the publication. He was ranked first in his class throughout his first and second years of law school and thereby received the full-tuition James P. McCardle Memorial Scholarship for 2001-02 and the full-tuition Dean's Scholarship for Excellence in 2002-03. He was also awarded the CALI Excellence Award in Research & Writing, Property, Torts, Criminal Law and Federal Courts during his time at Duquesne.

Following law school and immediately prior to joining Swartz Campbell, Mr. Zidik served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Christopher J. St. John in the Court of Common Pleas of Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Mr. Zidik now concentrates his practice in civil defense litigation, including defense of construction claims, product liability actions, toxic tort litigation, commercial and contract law, municipal law, insurance law, and others areas of civil defense. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
