RONALD E. REITZ is a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh Regional Office. He focuses his practice on matters including the defense of premises and automobile injury claims, first-party property damage and coverage issues, and defense of bad faith claims.
Mr. Reitz has also developed a specialized practice involving the purchase, sale, and securitization of deferred financial assets. He represents national companies that deal in the purchase of periodic cash flow streams such as annuities and structured settlement receivables. He has appeared in the state courts of Pennsylvania and Ohio for structured asset transactions having an accumulated sum of several million dollars, providing legal advice regarding the nature, scope, and implications as to each.
In 1987, Mr. Reitz received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating cum laude, from Bowling Green State University in 1984 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Mr. Reitz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and has successfully litigated cases in both states. He is a member of the Pennsylvania, Ohio and Allegheny County Bar Associations.
