SEAN F. FARRELL is an associate with the workers' compensation group in Philadelphia. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. Mr. Farrell initially served a judicial clerkship with the Pennsylvania Bureau of Workers’ Compensation upon graduation from law school, where he assisted Workers’ Compensation Judges (WCJs) with the drafting of trial decisions. Mr. Farrell began his litigation career representing claimants in workers’ compensation matters, moving on to exclusively represent insurance carriers and self-insureds since 2000. During the course of his practice, Mr. Farrell has handled all aspects of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation matters including all aspects of litigation at the WCJ hearing level, appeals to the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (WCAB), appeals to the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court and requests for appeals to be heard by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Mr. Farrell’s main current client is the State Workers’ Insurance Fund.

Mr. Farrell attended Temple University, where he earned his B.A. with Honors in Political Science. He received his J.D. from Widener University in 1997. He is a member of both the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, including the Philadelphia Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
