SHARON McGRAIL-SZABO is a managing partner in the Lehigh Valley Regional office of Swartz Campbell LLC, where she has practiced since February 1997. The primary focus of her practice is defense litigation of PA workers’ compensation matters. Her major clients include Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., Millard Refrigerated Services, and Buzzi-Unichem.

Sharon was born in Scranton, PA, and was raised in Phillipsburg, NJ, where she graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1983. Sharon received her undergraduate degree in Government and Law from Lafayette College in Easton, PA. in 1987. While an undergraduate, she won the Benjamin F. Barge Oratorical Prize for debate.

Sharon’s experience in workers’ compensation began with her initial employment as a claims adjuster at PMA Insurance. She gained legal experience as a legal assistant in the plaintiff’s & personal injury firm of Cohen, Knafo, Feeley & Ortwein in Easton, PA.

After these experiences, Sharon returned to school and obtained her Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. At Widener, she was a law review staff writer for the Widener Journal of Public Law, and was also named to the Dean’s Honors List.

Sharon is a member of the Pennsylvania and Northampton County Bar Associations, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Section.

She has been married to her husband, Scott, since 1988, and has two children.
