SHEILAH A. TONE has been with Swartz Campbell since 1993, and was made a partner with the firm in 1999. She was initially associated with the firm’s Allentown office, and has managed the Scranton office since its inception in 1997. She specializes in representing Pennsylvania employers and insurers in workers' compensation defense matters and insurance coverage issues. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Wyoming-Sullivan County, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.

Ms. Tone graduated with a degree in Political Science from the University of Scranton and earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. She is licensed in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Tone has lectured on Topics in Workers’ Compensation for Lorman Education Services and on Act 57 Amendments to the Worker’s Compensation Act to Cascade Rehabilitation Counseling, Inc.

In 2006 and in 2007, Ms. Tone was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer by Philadelphia Magazine.
