Swartz Campbell Hosts CLE on September 11, 2007 |

Swartz Campbell hosts 4 in-house Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs a year which clients are free to attend. Attendance at each program results in three Continuing Legal Education credits for attorneys barred in the Commonwealth.
The most recent program was conducted on September 11, 2007 at the Pyramid Club in Philadelphia, PA. Walter McDonough, a partner in Swartz Campbell's Philadelphia office who practices Federal Employers' Liability Act, Railroad Law, Products Liability and Professional Liability, spoke for an hour about useful tips for Deposition Taking.
Retired Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Russell M. Nigro spoke for two hours about Appellate Practice before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and Mediation. Mr. Nigro's presentation provided useful insight into the internal workings of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the Decision Process of the Court, helpful hints to present more captivating oral arguments and suggestions about drafting more persuasive Allocatur Petitions and Briefs in Support or Opposition to Appeals. In addition, Mr. Nigro spoke about the usefulness of Mediation and how best to approach a Mediation from a Mediator's standpoint.
