Workers Compensation

The Workers’ Compensation Group, headed by partner Jane A. Lombard, has provided representation to employers and their insurers for matters involving compensation claims due to work related injuries in the administrative proceedings since the 1950’s. The matters handled by the group involve claims for workers’ compensation benefits under state law. The group provides representation for workers’ compensation claims throughout the tri-state region. The matters are handled from the firm’s office located nearest the court in which the matter is pending. The group is active in developing new strategies to provide effective representation considering the changes in the law. Swartz Campbell remains a substantial provider of defense representation for workers’ compensation matters in the region.
