Insurance Coverage

The Insurance Coverage and Litigation Group is comprised of attorneys who counsel and represent commercial and personal lines insurers in policy coverage disputes. The insurance group provides coverage opinions and defense and indemnity obligations in the third-party liability for first party benefits.

Coverage questions regarding the duties to defend and indemnify, first party benefits, bad faith, environmental issues, intellectual property, contractual business risk claims, employment, property damage/construction claims, computer software (including “year 2000” problems) and multi-insurer allocations have been successfully resolved for primary and excess liability insurers by the Insurance Coverage and Litigation Group. The Group provides litigation services for declaratory judgment actions in state and federal courts nationwide.
