Guy E. Blass

GUY E. BLASS is a partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh regional office. Mr. Blass received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1994 from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois. He earned his juris doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 1999. After law school, Mr. Blass worked for eighteen years at another Pittsburgh based insurance defense firm, where he tried several jury trials to verdict throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and argued many cases before the Pennsylvania Appellate Courts.

Mr. Blass continues to concentrate his practice in civil defense litigation in both State and Federal Court, including defense of construction claims, product liability actions, toxic tort litigation, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, general liability, and commercial and contract law. He is admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania and West Virginia, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Blass is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
