KENNETH S. MROZ has extensive experience as an active litigator at both the trial and appellate court levels in all jurisdictions of Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He concentrates his practice in Civil Litigation, including the following: Personal Injury, Products Liability, Toxic Tort, Environmental, Insurance and Bad Faith, Commercial, Construction, Premises Liability, Professional Defense, Medical Malpractice, Communication, and Media.
Mr. Mroz has been a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1980. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and United States District Courts in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the New York Bar, the West Virginia Bar, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court in West Virginia. Mr. Mroz is a member of the Allegheny County and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute and Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
Mr. Mroz has litigated and tried to verdict numerous cases for automotive companies, pharmaceutical companies, medical service companies, hospitals, doctors, and various Fortune 500 companies, as well as represented them at the appellate level. Nevertheless, Mr. Mroz remains focused on keeping his clients out of court and out of litigation.
Mr. Mroz is a frequent lecturer on trial issues, particularly the proper handling of expert witnesses, products liability litigation issues, and insurance bad-faith matters. In addition, Mr. Mroz is active in community youth sports organizations and related charitable endeavors.
Mr. Mroz has been named a Super Lawyer. He has been recognized and acknowledged in “Who’s Who in American Law,” is a certified federal arbitrator, and has been accorded the AV rating by Martindale-Hubbell. He has been selected by The American Registry as one of the top attorneys in Pennsylvania.
